Well, after reading Kate's journal, I decided to look at my own birth-date to see who I am. And it seems that I am someone whose not good at any particular thing. I'm just average......good for me. NOT But at least I'm destined for travel and fun, of course since I'm average, it will probably be so so fun and exciting trips to Cleveland or someplace like Iowa. Who ever is reading this must be jealous at this point.

Well it's been awhile since I have updated my journal and I know my adoring fans are waiting for a new entry. Well, sorry, no new thoughts, just giving an update. Here goes:
I had a great 29th birthday, hung out with friends and family, went to the beach, and got some really great presents. I have decided to take a new job at work, it really isn't that much different from what I was doing but I'm hoping it will lead to new and better things. My new title will be "Intake Services Specialist" or something like that. I've been given the opportunity to change the title as well. Which is cool, I'm hoping to make it something good so it can really sell me. Have any ideas?, love to hear them. As of lately I have been feeling sort of down. You know, just feeling a little depressed about things, I seem to go through this about twice a year. It usually happens when friends start taking about new love lives and exciting things going on and I feel like I have nothing new. Which is really not true, I just tend to focus on the negatives more than the positives. Which is stupid, because I think I have a lot more good things going on then bad. Like my friends and family and people who cheer me up. (Thanks Katie for going to dinner with me last night and beating the crap out of my arm.....it helped :) So this negativity is slowly going away and I'm starting to feel like my old self again. I had some caramel joy this morning from the Katie and Kate and that helped. And my new dining room table is coming tomorrow, so that's really awesome. Well, the day is about over for me, well as far as work is concerned. I promise to work on some more couch thoughts and hopefully have an update soon. Maybe I can talk about the "TILT" and more disgusting boy stuff...ha ha ha. Later, |

So, as you can read from my last entry, I had my 29th birthday this past Thursday. Everything went well, I got some really cool presents and had the chance to hang out with some friends.....what could be better. But the best part of the whole birthday celebration was the party with my family. On Saturday night I went with my parents, sisters, brother-in-law and niece to Longhorn steakhouse in Brier Creek and had a great time and then afterwords we went to my parents place for cake. Now, it was at this point that the birthday party got really good. When I went inside, I noticed that there was a bunch of pictures on the dinning room table from a birthday party I had when I was a kid. Well as it turns out it was from my 9th birthday when I had a He-Man party with all my friends. Wait...it gets better. Well, as soon as I saw the pictures my mom brings out a ice cream cake from Carvel with He-Man drawn on it, just like the one I had when I was kid. It was the coolest thing. Then my mom pointed me towards their fireplace and I noticed on the mantle there was all of my old He-Man action figures set up. I thought that was the coolest. My mom had taken the time to set up all of these figures, get me a cool cake, and find the pictures from my 9th B-party. I was very impressed and appreciative that she did it. It was very cool and will go down as one of the sweetest things she has ever done. It made my birthday very special. Well, that's about it. Just wanted to share. Oh yeah...the birthday isn't over yet. This weekend I'm partying it up with some friends at Sunset Beach.....Sweet!!

Well, today is the day of my birth. I'm 29 today and that means one thing. Like a fine wine, I just keep getting finer with age....mmmhhhmmmm that's right. Actually it means I'm 12 months to the day from being 30......scary, huh? Imagine this personality and being 30. I'll be like Tom Hanks in BIG.....a 12 year old stuck in a 30 year olds body. I'll still enjoy fart jokes, making others laugh, and still completely unsure of what I want to do for the rest of my life. But that can be a good, you know, being young at heart. But besides that, the birthday was kicked off right. I had dinner last night with KatIe (that's with an i people), Kat, and Kat's mom. We went to Sushi Thai, I had never been there before, and I found it rather enjoyable. I ate my fill of Sushi and was very satisfied. As for the actual day of my birth, things are starting off well. I slept really good last night (which at my age is hard to do, you know, with those old man pains and everything), I dreamed that it was me and the complete cover of the new SI swimsuit issue hanging out on the beach......grrrr. Also, I got some good emails from friends wishing me a happy birthday. I am even enjoying the weather. For some reason I enjoy the rain. Well, that's about it for now. Hopefully the rest of the day goes extremely well and I will holla at ya later...player. Peace and hair grease. |
